PSPL is home to a collection of original Paul Sawyier art.
Paul Sawyier (1865-1917) moved to Frankfort, KY at age five. He was a prolific painter of portraits and impressionist landscapes, many from the local area.
He lived in Frankfort until his mother's death in 1908. He then lived in a houseboat on the Kentucky River and produced over 500 paintings. He later moved to New York.
