Applicants with a variety of skills, interests, and experiences are encouraged to apply.

The Paul Sawyier Public Library consists of five voting and five advisory board members. Voting board members are appointed by the County Judge-Executive with the approval of the Fiscal Court. Advisory members are chosen by a board committee and approved by the full board. All trustees serve in a volunteer capacity. Trustees serve for four years with the possibility of re-appointment.
Applicants with a variety of skills, interests, and experiences are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must:
- Live in Franklin County
- Be able to commit to monthly board meeting (second Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm), committee assignments and continuing education opportunities
- Take the steps necessary to certify through KDLA
