Capital City Museum proudly publishes stories of Frankfort and Franklin County. Crafting & Casting by Betty Barr and Don Kleier shares the history of the Kentucky bait-casting reels that put Frankfort on the map. At the Bend of the River by Patty Norris Peavler tells the concise and engaging history of our community. Kentucky Deceased by Katherine O'Dell and Zack Poehlein delves deeper into stories from the award winning podcast with the same name hosted by Eleanor Hasken-Wagner. Crafting & Casting and At the Bend of the River are currently for sale by the museum. Kentucky Deceased launches October 1, but will be available for pre-sale at the Gathering of Authors.
Closed Due to Flood
Due to the rising river levels, the Library will be closed at least through Thursday. All programs and meeting room reservations are canceled.
The Board of Trustees meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, has also been canceled. A special called meeting will be held at later date, to be determined.
