A Sweet Evening with the American Honey Princess

Join PSPL and the Bluegrass Beekeeping School for a honey tasting! Emilia Burnham, the 2025 American Honey Princess, will speak about the importance of honeybees to Kentucky agriculture and how honeybee pollination diversifies our diet. Honeybees are responsible for nearly one-third of our entire diet, in regards to the pollination services that they provide for a large majority of fruits, vegetables, nuts and legumes. She will also share information about how honey is nature’s remedy and will talk about what makes various honeys look and taste different.
