Event Details

In the 21st century, digital literacy is a vital skillset for participating in the electronic environment. But, developing those skills, can be no easy task. Beginning with the basics, join Connected Nation's Heather Gate for a two-part digital literacy workshop series where you will engage in foundational learning of computer functions, internet, e-mail, and cybersecurity.

Part 2 will explore e-mail and cybersecurity basics, such as:

  • Employing strategies for protecting sensitive information
  • Identifying secure websites
  • Recognizing key indicators of suspicious and harmful content

Each session will be offered twice in the same day to allow for schedule accommodations. A limited number of laptop computers will be available for use, but we encourage you to bring your own laptop device, if possible.

Please register, as space is limited.
