Purpose of Meeting
This public forum will give concerned city and county citizens the opportunity to address the Judge-Executive and the Director of Solid Waste Management, make statements, ask questions, and give opinions about this ordinance, as well as
- understand the problem of single-use plastics and Styrofoam and their impact on the environment,
- how the ordinance might impact them and their businesses,
- discuss landfill issues, hazards to public health, etc., and
- answer concerns and address any confusion about the issue.
Together Frankfort is sponsoring this event and providing the mediator.
