In the 21st century, digital literacy is a vital skillset for participating in the electronic environment. But, developing those skills, can be no easy task. Beginning with the basics, join Connected Nation's Heather Gate for a two-part digital literacy workshop series where you will engage in foundational learning of computer functions, internet, e-mail, and cybersecurity.
Part 1 will explore computer and internet basics, such as:
- Understanding the basics of computer hardware and software
- Navigating the internet confidently using popular web browsers
- Searching and finding information effectively through search engines
Each session will be offered twice in the same day to allow for schedule accommodations. A limited number of laptop computers will be available for use, but we encourage you to bring your own laptop device, if possible.
Please register, as space is limited.
