Event Details
Thomas Zemsky, a long-time resident of Lexington who died this past spring, was a profoundly talented poet, a graduate of the distinguished Iowa Writers Workshop, and author of eight full-length collections of poetry much admired by his fellow authors. In honor of Zemsky's life and work, join poets Libby Falk Jones, Jay McCoy, Sheila Bucy Potter, and Richard Taylor, together with his Broadstone Books publisher Larry W. Moore and others, as they gather to read selections from his unique body of verse. Paul Sawyier Public Library was the site of Zemsky's last public reading in the fall of 2023, and is honored to host this event.
